Animated No Scraps Forum - "Nature"

This tutorial was written by me on June 05, 2016, using my own ideas. Any resemblance to others is coincidental and accidental. This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of psp and is written in PSPX6.

Word Art/Saying of choice

 

Filters:

No outside filters

 

Fonts:

Arabic Typesetting

 

Abbreviations:

DS_Drop Shadow

ANL_Add New Layer

EC_Eye Candy

GG_Gradient Glow

AS_Animation Shop

C/P_Copy and Paste

FF_Flood Fill

 

 

Open blank 600x250 canvas

 

Make a gradient using #305486 and #7da7ce angle 25_repeats 1

ANL

Effects_Texture Effects_Fine Leather_#dcdcdc_30_40_255_40_4

 

C/P tube placing to the left so the seals in the background show

Duplicate

Move duplicate to the right so the 1 seal in the background shows

Merge down

Blend Mode_Soft Light

 

C/P tube placing in center so the main seal shows

Crop to 600x250

 

Magic Wand_Tolerance 15_Select white water area below seal

 

 

 

Promote selection to layer

Select none

Copy promoted layer

AS_Paste As New Animation

 

Effects_Insert Image Effect_Underwater

Effect Length_1.7 seconds

Frame Per Second_10

Customize:

Apply Refractive Distortion checked

Sunlight Intensity_10

Water Depth_4

Wave 1: 9_10

Wave 2: -7_10

Wave 3: -9_-8

Wave 4: 6_-10

Wave 5: 6_-15

Wave 6: -16_-12

 

Delete Frame 1

Ctrl+A

 

In PSP

Copy Merged

 

AS_Paste As New Animation

Ctrl+L until you have 10 frames

Ctrl+A

 

Ctrl+C the wave animation we just made

Ctrl+E on the tag

Align the wave with the original image

Click to place

 

Delete Frame 1 (this should leave 9 frames)

 

View animation to see if it's correct

 

In PSP

Delete promoted layer

 

Add word art/saying of choice

Repeat DS 3 times

Contract 1_Delete_Select none

Sharpen More

DS_0_0_100_10_Black

 

Add all correct copyright/license information

 

Name_ Arabic Typesetting_36_Black

Repeat Blue DS

 

 

In PSP

Close gradient and both tube layers

Copy Merged (should be frame, word art, copyright, name)

AS_Paste As New Animation

CTRL+C

On top tool bar of animation shop, click "Propagate Paste" (looks like 3 paper pages)

Click on top of tag

Ctrl+E

Align the frame with the edges (if you enlarge the tag slightly, and do not move the mouse, you should be able to just click and it will be correctly aligned)

Click to place

 

View animation again to see if you like it
