FTU Tutorial "Lazareva's Garden"

Lazareva's Garden

This tutorial was written by me on March 14, 2020 using my own ideas.

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of psp and is written in PSPX/PSPX6 but can be done in any version.

STEPS

Open blank 650x650 canvas

ANL

Select All

C/P paper 14 into selection

Select none

Apply Mask

C/P the following elements, duplicating, mirroring, sharpening, placing as shown:

Birdcage

Butterflies

Fence

Flowers 2

Flowers 3

Flowers 5

Glitter (only wanted the bottom portion of this, so I selected and deleted what I did not want showing)

Grass

Pearls

Rose Tree

Spray

Swirl 1

C/P tube

DS all layers_0_0_50_10_Black

Back to mask layer...I did not like how the bottom part of the mask looked on this tag, so I selected from bottom of fence down_delete_select none

Duplicate_Flip_move down slightly

Now select from bottom of fence UP_delete_select none

Add all correct copyright/license information

Chick With Umbrella tube  by Barb Kermis_ Sadly, Ms. Kermis's site is closed as of June 2018.

BP_Template 57 by  Becky's Creations_Becky has since changed her blog name and is now offering her templates at Simple Expressions (Look under "Template Bundles" to find her BP templates)

MCCT_Manual Color Correction Tool

 

*When working with templates, I use the Manual Color Correction Tool (MCCT):

Highlight template layer

Click on the MCCT

Set top box to original layer color

Set bottom box to new color

Click OK

If you want to use the same color with different shades, simply click each template layer and apply the MCCT

WITHOUT changing the bottom color.

This works great on templates with different shades of Gray and Black.*

Another way to color template layers:

When working with templates, always Shift+D to duplicate, close original,

then on each layer, select with magic wand (or Select All, Float, De-float), ANL,

close/delete the original, do steps required in tutorial, select none

 

Try it out and see what works for you.

Duplicate 3 times for 4 layers

Select None

Top promoted layer_DSB Flux_Bright Noise_20

Repeat Bright Noise on each promoted layer, clicking MIX each time

Close bottom 3 promoted layers for now

Highlight original tube

Invert_Delete on each cloud layer
