“Perfect Thanksgiving” tube by Leonardo Preda available at indie-Zine

“Saturday’s Child” FTU scrap kit mini by Designs by Jen Yurko (this was a Facebook Fan Freebie in November 2012)

Mask of choice

Fonts_Ænigma Scrawl (BRK) for saying and Lydia Puente)  for name

Abbreviations:

EC = Eye Candy

GG = Gradient Glow

DS = Drop Shadow

C/P = Copy and Paste

FF = Flood Fill

ANL = Add New Layer

Open blank 600x600 canvas

ANL_select all_C/P paper 8 into selection

ANL again_C/P paper 5 into selection_select none

Apply mask to each paper layer

C/P frame_Duplicate for 3 layers

Back layer_free rotate left_10

Middle layer_free rotate right_10

Leave top frame as is

C/P tag 4

Add the following elements:
Bird

Button 2

Flower 1

Flower 2

Ribbon

Using Ænigma Scrawl (BRK), type out your message

C/P tube

Add all correct copyright/license information

Add name_Lydia Puente)_125_#e2792c

Duplicate_Convert duplicate to raster

On original text_change to black

Tap arrow left key 3 times then arrow down key 3 times

Convert to raster

DS all layers EXCEPT orange name and saying_0_0_100_10_Black

Save!!!

Select large gray circle_ANL

Select small gray circle_ANL_FF with another gradient_Blur_10_Fur_Default settings

Raster 5_noise_100

Select the small gray circle again_C/P mirrored tube and position_Invert_Delete_select none

Blend mode_Luminance L_Opacity 22

Select white border on large circle_promote to layer_Noise_100_select none

Select the large gray circle again

C/P tube above fritillary layer and position as shown_Invert and delete_Select none

Blend mode_Screen_Opacity 36

Select raster 3_ANL_FF with first gradient – Blur_10 _ Xenofex 2_Crumple_Default settings

Apply noise to white frame

C/P tube

DS tube and frames_0_0_100_10_Black

Add all correct copyright/license information

Using the circle selection tool, stroke 4, fill 0, draw a circle the size of the large white frame_DO NOT CONVERT

Name_Santas Sleigh Full_72_stroke 1 White_fill Black_hover around circle until the line appears under the “A”

Type your name

DS_2_-5_50_5_Black

Hide or delete the vector circle

Save!!

All gradient settings I used are_351_2_Radial

You could substitute scrap papers or solid colors for the gradients if you wish

Open template – resize so it’s about 500x500

Starting at bottom_FF Background 2 with Gradient #1

Magic Wand_select gray area of background 1_Promote selection to layer_FF Gradient #2_add noise_55_select none

C/P tube and position over the Paper Strips

Using magic wand and working one at a time, select each strip, FF #2,  promote tube to layer

Merge tube layers together_blend mode_Hard Light

Merge strips together (I added a lyer below the strips and FF with the same gradient so the ugly lines didn’t show)

Circle_FF color_position tube face_promote to layer_Blend mode LuminanceL_Delete original tube

Scalloped Circle Frame_select with wand_add new layer_FF another color

Add noise_55 to the original scalloped frame

Repeat DS on some layers to deepen the look

Merge the Snapshots, Snapshots Frame, You, You Frame, Of, Of Frame, and each ones shadows together  but NOT the snapshot’s drop shadow

Move wording to top left_move drop shadow layer and re-position it under the wording

Add all correct copyright/license information

Add name_Copper Alt Caps Expert_100_Black
