"Raining Cats and Dogs" tube by Scott Blair_this tube was purchases when Mr. Blair was selling at PTE.I am not sure where/if he is currently selling his tubes.

Template 52 by Becky's Creations_Becky has since changed her blog name and is now offering her templates at Simple Expressions

*When working with templates, I use the Manual Color Correction Tool (MCCT):

Highlight template layer

Click on the MCCT

Set top box to original layer color

Set bottom box to new color

Click OK

If you want to use the same color with different shades, simply click each template layer and apply the MCCT

WITHOUT changing the bottom color. This usually works giving each layer a different shade of the same color.

Occasionally you will find a template that this will not work on tho, so in that case simply change the colors each time.

This works great on templates with different shades of Gray and Black.*

Another way to color template layers:

When working with templates, always Shift+D to duplicate, close original,

then on each layer, select with magic wand (or Select All, Float, De-float), ANL,

close/delete the original, do steps required in tutorial, select none

Try it out and see what works for you.

Click on word on tag

Using the up arrow on keyboard, click 5 or 6 times

We want to move all the word layers up slightly to make room below them

Move to bottom of tag_see mine for example

Text_move to bottom of tag, placing between "Friendship" and the Tiny Hearts as shown on my tag above

C/P tube placing face inside selected area

Promote Selection to Layer

Select none

Blend Mode_Hard Light*

Repeat * to * for the last frame fill square

Note: My tube covered the other squares, so depending on tube you choose, you may have to add the tube to the other squares too.

Add all correct copyright/license information

This tutorial was written by me on May 27, 2012, using my own ideas. Any resemblance to others is coincidental and accidental. This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of psp and is written in PSPX.

As always, tutorials are only a guideline. If you don't have the exact supplies, use ones you have or ones you choose.

Supplies:

Tube of choice – I used “Charity Angel” by Scott Blair available at PTE

Please do not use this same tube without the proper license

“It’s Time To Love” FTU scrap kit add on by Lilas Digiscrap

Mask of choice – I used LM13112112

Font of choice – Adine Regular

Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Xero - Fritillary

Template 5 by me

2 gradients to match tube – I used DuoTone Red and mqc Old Barn

To save time, I use these abbreviations:

C/P = copy and paste

DS = drop shadow

Open template in psp. Shift+D and close original.

Add a new layer to bottom

Flood fill with red gradient

Open mask in psp

Layers – New Mask Layer – From Image – choose your mask from drop down list

Right click mask layer in palette – Merge – Merge Group

Move mask to top right

Duplicate – Mirror – Flip – Position at bottom right

Using Magic Wand, select Top Square

Add new layer and floodfill with red gradient

Adjust – Blur – Gaussian Blur_10

Effects – Texture Effects – Blinds_3_50_Black_Horizontal NOT checked_Light checked

C/P tube close up as new layer

Position in selection so part you like shows thru

Promote selection to layer

Change blend mode to Multiply

Select none

Repeat these steps for middle and bottom square

Select Rectangle

Flood fill with red gradient

Repeat the blur

Effects – Texture Effects – Weave_2_13_1_White_White_Fill Gaps Checked

Select none

Select Circle – Add new layer - Flood Fill with brown gradient

Xero – Fritillary_5_30_10_17

Select none

Select right rectangle – Flood Fill with brown gradient – Duplicate

On duplicate – apply same blur and blinds effects except check the Horizontal box in blinds

Select none

Repeat for Left Rectangle flood filling with red gradient

Select Heart – Add new layer – Flood fill with red gradient – Duplicate

On duplicate layer – Effects – Texture Effects – Presets – Detail Low (70_200_12_45_White)

C/P the following elements from the scrap kit, resizing, sharpening, and placing to yur liking:

Using Manual Color Correction Tool, change the black Circle Frame to #fe0100

Adjust – Add/Remove Noise – Add Noise_100

Repeat same noise for all other frames leaving them black

C/P tube as new layer and position

DS all layers_0_0_100_10_Black

Add all correct copyright information

Add name using font of choice – I used Adine Regular_200_Black_Stroke 1_#fe0100

DS name_2_-5_50_5_Black
