This tutorial was written by me on June 27, 2012, using my own ideas. Any resemblance to others is coincidental and accidental. This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of psp and is written in PSPX.

Supplies:

“Sparkle” tube by Keith Garvey available at PTE

Please do not use this same tube without the proper license

“Independence Day” cluster frame freebie

Image of choice – I chose one from Stock Exchange

Xero – Fritillary

Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Font of choice – Mine is ChristophsQuillSwashITC

Abbreviations:

EC = Eye Candy

GG = Gradient Glow

DS = Drop Shadow

C/P = Copy and Paste

FF = Flood Fill

Open frame in psp

Duplicate and close original

Duplicate frame layer

Select the inside of the frame

C/P image of choice as new layer between frame layers

Position so parts you like show then promote selection to layer

Select none

On original frame – Gaussian Blur_10

Xero – Fritillary_5_30_10_22

C/P tube as new layer

Erase parts you want covered by frame

DS_0_0_100_10_Black

Add name_ ChristophsQuillSwashITC_150_Black

EC 4000 – GG_3_25_100_color as shown below

 DS name_2_-5_50_5_Black
