The Rain

This tutorial was written by me on April 24 2015, using my own ideas. Any resemblance to others is coincidental and accidental. This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of psp and is written in PSPX6.

 Abbreviations:

EC = Eye Candy

GG = Gradient Glow

DS = Drop Shadow

C/P = Copy and Paste

FF = Flood Fill

ANL = Add New Layer

AS = Animation Shop

Open blank 600x250 image

Foreground #f40c1d background Black

Gradient_Sunburst_1 repeat

FF Image

Foreground Black_Background null_Width 2

Pre-set Shape_Heart

Draw a small heart

Convert to raster

Mura's Meister_Copies_Line (Feedback)_ Change Number to 1 and Tile Gap to 5

Duplicate

Highlight bottom heart layer_Adjust_Blur_Gaussian Blur_3

Merge heart layers together

Duplicate

Highlight bottom heart layer

Mura's Seamless_Polka Dot_Default

Magic wand_Select all the black areas

Delete

Highlight middle layer_Repeat Snowflakes clicking random Seed once

Highlight bottom layer_ Repeat Snowflakes clicking random Seed once

Highlight top snowflake layer_ Blur_Motion Blur_133_15

Highlight middle snowflake layer_Repeat Motion Blur

Highlight bottom snowflake layer_ Motion Blur

Close bottom 2 layers for now

~*~*~Note: If you want your "raindrops" to be more blurred, simply make the blur number higher to your liking~*~*~

C/P tube to top of tag

Add Word Art/Saying of choice

Select all_Contract 3_Delete_Select none

Add all correct copyright/license information

Name_ Evita Regular_48_Black

DS_2_5_100_5_Black

Repeat DS

Animating:

Copy Merged

Open AS

Paste As New Animation

Back to PSP

Close top snowflake layer and open middle

Copy Merged

AS_Paste After Current Frame

Repeat for bottom snowflake layer

Check animation

If "rain" is falling as you  like, Save!!

If not, go to Animation_Frame Properties_Change number to one that makes it fall the way you want it to

(I left mine on 10)

When happy with animation, Save!!!
