This tutorial was written by me on December 04, 2016 using my own ideas.

Any resemblance to others is coincidental and accidental.

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of psp and is written in PSPX6.

 

Supplies:

"Heavenly Christmas" PTU scrap kit by White Rose Scraps currently available at ADI

Mask 62 by WeescotsLass - look in the right side list and you will find download links for all her masks

Abbreviations:

DS_Drop Shadow

ANL_Add New Layer

EC_Eye Candy

GG_Gradient Glow

AS_Animation Shop

C/P_Copy and Paste

FF_Flood Fill

 

Open blank 600x600 canvas

ANL

C/P paper 8 into selection

Select none

Apply mask

C/P the following elements:

53  sharpen more two or three times to brighten it

Add 3 new layers above the tree

Picture Tube Tool_Sparkle_Scale: 100_Step: 200_Random_Random

Make your Foreground color White (or you can do different colors for a fun look)

Highlight the top blank layer

Roll the mouse ball to enlarge image

Click on random lights on tree

Repeat for each blank layer

Close the bottom 2 sparkle layers for now
