PTU - Picnic Time

Picnic Time

This tutorial was written by me on July 11, 2012, using my own ideas. Any resemblance to others is coincidental and accidental. This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of psp and is written in PSPX.
Please leave some love when downloading supplies. The artists/creators work hard to make/share their work with us, so let's be appreciative. Please use all correct copyright information and follow all TOU’s. Let’s give credit where credit is due.
As always, tutorials are only a guideline. If you don't have the exact supplies, use ones you have or ones you choose.

Supplies:

“Memorial Day” tube by Keith Garvey available at PTE
“Picnic” PTU scrap kit by Mama Llama Designs

Picnic” cluster frame
Font of choice – I used Good Vibrations ROB

Abbreviations:
EC = Eye Candy
GG = Gradient Glow
DS = Drop Shadow
C/P = Copy and Paste

There are 2 ways to do this tut…You can either use the frame I made, adding a few elements from the kit, OR you can just use the kit by simply C/P each element, placing where you like them

Using frame:

Open frame in psp
Add new layer to bottom of canvas
Select all
C/P paper10 into selection
Select none
Apply mask
Using square selection tool, make a selection of the frame
Add new layer below frame
C/P paper3 into selection
Select none
Effects – Texture Effects – Fur – Default
Add the “pinic” word from the kit to top of canvas
Erase any parts you want to be behind the ants
C/P tube as new layer
Erase any parts you don’t want to show
DS all layers_0_0_100_10_Black
Add correct copyright/license information
Add name_Good Vibrations ROB_100_Black
EC 4000 – GG_3_25_100_ #859c4c
