Hot Chocolate Day 

 

This tutorial was written by me on December 04, 2018 using my own ideas. Any resemblance to others is coincidental and accidental.

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of psp and is written in PSPX/PSPX6 but can be done in any version.

SUPPLIES:

"Winter Time Special Edition Tube3" tube by Alicia Mujica - tube/license currently available in Alicia's store
Winter Image of choice - The one I used is from FreeImages

My "Hot Chocolate" word art below
VC Snow by me BOX or 4Shared or snow animation of choice
 Click Image, then right click and save full size png

Filters:

No Outside Filters USed

Abbreviations:

DS_Drop Shadow

ANL_Add New Layer

EC_Eye Candy

GG_Gradient Glow

AS_Animation Shop

C/P_Copy and Paste

Open White 600x300 canvas

C/P tube

Do not re-size or move

Adjust_Blur_Gaussian 15

Adjust_Blur_Radial_Zoom_100_Elliptical checked_0_0_25

Move image up until; the center point is  just off edge of canvas

Selection Tool_Custom Selection:

Left: 182

Top: 42

Right; 548

Bottom: 250

C/P image into selection

Selections_Modify_Select Selection Borders_Both Sides_4

Adjust_Add Noise_Gaussian 35

Select none

Change Blend mode on image to something that suits your colors (I used Overlay for mine as it had  a lot of white background)

Magic Wand_Select outside image

Invert

Highlight background layer

Promote Selection to layer

Merge your image and promoted layer together

Select none

Highlight bottom blur layer

Effects_Art Media_Brush Strokes:

Softness: 20

Brush bristles: 160

Width: 5

Opacity: 50

Stroke Lengths: 10

Density: 25

Angle: 102

Color:  #404040

C/P tube placing as shown

C/P word Art or add wording of choice

ANL to top

FF #800000

Select All

Contract 4

Delete

Adjust_Add Noise_Gaussian 35

Select none

Apply the following Drop Shadows:

Both Frames_0_0_100_10_Black

Tube_5_10_75_20_Black

Word Art_2_3_75_10_Black

Add all correct copyright/license information

Name_A&S Black Swan_30_Black

Crop to 600x300

 

 

****ANIMATING ****

 

Open Animation Shop

Be sure the Propagate Paste button is clicked (looks like 3 pages of paper in top tool bar)

 

Open animated snow file in Animation Shop

Edit_Select All

In PSP, Copy merged image layer

AS

Paste As New Image

Duplicate so you have the same number frames as your chosen snow animation

Select All

Copy Snow animation

Click on image frame

Paste Into Selected Frame

Back to PSP

Close all layers except background and image layers

Copy Merged

AS

Paste As New Animation

Duplicate so you have same number of frames as your snow image

Select All

Copy your snow image you made previously

Click on tag background

Paste Into Selected Frame, lining the snow image edges with the image on the background

Back to PSP

Close background and image layers

Open all others

Copy Merged

AS

Paste As New Animation

Copy

Click tag background with the snow

Paste Into Selected Frame

View Animation

If happy, save!
