PTU - "Daydream"

Daydream

 

 

This tutorial was written by me on April 21, 2016 using my own ideas. Any resemblance to others is coincidental and accidental. This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of psp and is written in PSPX.

Supplies:

"Lois" tube by Leslie Tribolet (Ms. Tribolet is currently taking a break and will be available again soon. Please keep checking ADI for her wonderful tubes) - tube/license currently available at ADI

"For Zoey-ADI Store Collab" PTU scrap kit available at ADI - I used the "Dreaming Dreams" scrap kit by Daelman's Designs and the "Daydream Word Art 10" by FwTags Creations  parts of the collab for this tag

Filters:

Penta.com_Color Dot

 

Fonts:

PC Childish

 

Abbreviations:

EC = Eye Candy

GG = Gradient Glow

DS = Drop Shadow

C/P = Copy and Paste

FF = Flood Fill

ANL = Add New Layer

AS = Animation Shop

 

 

Open blank 600x600 canvas

 

ANL_Select All_C/P paper03 into selection

ANL_C/P paper 04 into selection

Select none

Apply mask to each paper layer

Highlight paper 04 layer_Blend Mode_Saturation (L) if using tag on a  dark background area or Luminance (L) if using mainly in an area with a light background (forums, groups, etc...) Whichever suits you better

 

C/P frame 05

Magic Wand, select inside_Expand by 10

C/P paper 04 into selection

Select none

Blend Mode of image_Multiply

Duplicate Frame

Highlight original frame

Adjust_Blur_Gaussian 10

Repeat Color Dot

 

Highlight frame copy

DS_0_0_50_7_Black

 

 

C/P element 024 and place on right side of tag as shown

C/P element 05_Mirror_place to the right

 

Now let's build our bouquet:

C/P the basket, element 04

C/P each flower and greenery you want to use, resizing

Arrange the flowers over the basket, duplicating, mirroring, rotating as needed keeping in mind we will make them look like they are inside the basket when done. This takes a while, LOL.

When happy, Sharpen each layer, then DS each flower/greenery_0_0_50_7_Black

Merge all flower/greenery layers together

 

Duplicate basket and bring copy to top

Erase parts of the basket so it looks like the flowers are inside it. Make some of the flowers drape over the sides.

When happy, DS each basket layer and merge baskets/flowers together

 

Re-size, sharpen, and place as shown

 

C/P element 014, duplicate 3times, mirror 2 of the copies, and place a shown

Repeat DS on each

 

C/P Word Art

Place at bottom in front of basket

Repeat DS

 

C/P element 033

Free Rotate Right 80

Erase stem and place to the bottom right of basket below word art

Repeat DS

 

C/P element 031

Carefully erase the stem and place at bottom in front of word art as shown

Repeat DS

Place just above top mask layer so parts of it stick out around left side of frame

Duplicate_Mirror_Flip

Merge 2 elements together

Manual Color Correction Tool_Change color to #a19f9f

Add noise 50

Duplicate

Repeat blur and Color Dot

Place at top of image between frame layers

Blend Mode_Overlay
