Together We Stand

This tutorial was written by me on November 18,2015, using my own ideas. Any resemblance to others is coincidental and accidental. This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of psp and is written in PSPX6.

This is another Facebook Banner I created to show support for Paris in the aftermath of the terrible terrorist attacks that occurred on November 13,2015. Please keep them in your prayers.

Supplies:

“Paris Dreams” FTU scrap kit by Scraps Dimensions

Fonts:

Border Corners

Abbreviations:

EC = Eye Candy

GG = Gradient Glow

DS = Drop Shadow

C/P = Copy and Paste

FF = Flood Fill

ANL = Add New Layer

AS = Animation Shop

Open blank 850x320 canvas

FF Black

C/P scattered hearts 2 placing to the top right

Duplicate

Mirror

Move up slightly so the two heart layers are not even

C/P Frame 1

Free Rotate_Right 90

Using nodes, pull top and bottom so the edges are about 12 pixeles in from edges of canvas

Magic Wand_Click inside frame

Expand by 5

C/P Postcard as new layer below frame

Re-size and position so parts you want are showing inside frame

Invert_Delete

Select none

Highlight frame_ DS_0_0_100_10_Black

Repeat DS twice

C/P Ribbon 6

Flip

Mirror

Place as shown

C/P paper 4 into selection

Add noise_30

Contract 12

Delete

Select All

C/P paper 5 into selection

Contract 10

Type Y

Position in bottom right corner lining up the outside edges of corner with inside edge of pink frame
 as shown

Convert to raster

Duplicate

Mirror

Merge down

Duplicate

Flip

Merge down

Selection tool_Rectangle

Select the vertical portion of the corner just above the square

Promote to layer

Select none

Position so it fills in the blank area between the top and bottom corners

Select any area that overlaps and delete

Merge with corners

Convert to raster

Re-size 85% several times until it fits nicely on postcard to the right of the Eiffel Tower
