FTU - "Seaside Dreams"

Seaside Dreams

 



 
This tutorial was written by me on May 03, 2015, using my own ideas. Any resemblance to others is coincidental and accidental. This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of psp and is written in PSPX6.

"Perlita" tube by Tori Beveridge - tube/license available at ADI
"Deep Blue" FTU scrap kit by Inzpired Creationz - unfortunately Nicky has closed her blog so please use a suitable replacement kit
 
Filters:
No Outside Filters
 
Fonts:
Christmas4
 
 
 
Abbreviations:
EC = Eye Candy
GG = Gradient Glow
DS = Drop Shadow
C/P = Copy and Paste
FF = Flood Fill
ANL = Add New Layer
AS = Animation Shop
 
 
 
Open blank 600x600 canvas
ANL
Select All
C/P paper 4 into selection
Select none
Apply mask
 
C/P Porthole 2
Selection tool_Circle_Select the center are of the porthole, going out to middle of the tan area
ANL below porthole
C/P paper 1 into selection
Select none
 
C/P Fish 5 and Fish 6
Re-size and place as shown between porthole and paper 1
 
C/P the following elements, re-sizing, duplicating, mirroring, sharpening, placing as shown:
 
Chest
Crab
Sand 1
Sea Plant 1
Sea Plant 2
Sea Plant 3
Seaweed 1
Seaweed 2
Starfish 3
 
C/P tube
Duplicate
Highlight original tube layer
Gaussian Blur 10
Texture Effects_Fine Leather_#dcdcdc_30_19_255_40_4
Edge Effects_Enhance
 
DS duplicate tube_0_0_55_35_Black
 
DS elements_0_0_75_15_Black
 
Add all correct copyright/license information
 
Ellipse Tool_any color_Stroke 5_Fill null
Draw a circle aproximately the size of the outside edge of the porthole (round edge)
Move down once
DO NOT CONVERT
 
Highlight top layer
Text Tool_Christmas4_72_Black
Convert to raster
Delete vector circle
 
Save!!!
