This tutorial was written by me on October 16, 2013, using my own ideas. Any resemblance to others is coincidental and accidental. This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of psp and is written in PSPX.

Note: This tag works best with an image that has a large area that has subtle color changes

DSB Flux_Bright Noise

Font_Gabriola

Abbreviations:

EC = Eye Candy

GG = Gradient Glow

DS = Drop Shadow

C/P = Copy and Paste

FF = Flood Fill

ANL = Add New Layer

 AS = Animation Shop

Open blank 600x300 image

ANL_Select all

C/P chosen image into selection_Select none

(If image is too distorted, use your crop tool and re-size instead)

Magic Wand_Tolerance about 15

Click into the top left area of image

Make several selections until the area you like is selected

Effects_Art Media Effects_Brush Strokes:

Select none

Magic Wand_Same settings_select several areas of the water

Promote to layer_Select none

Duplicate this promoted layer twice for a total of 3 layers

DBS Flux_Bright Noise_15

VM Natural_Sparkle:

Repeat for each duplicate layer, clicking on “Mix” and changing random seed slightly each time

Type out your chosen saying and place in top left corner

ANL to top_FF Black_Select all_Contract 2_Delete_Select none

DS_0_0_100_10_Black

Add all correct copyright/license information

Name_Gabriola_72_Black

Repeat DS changing color to White

DS_2_5_50_5_Black

Open AS

Close off 2 of the promoted water layers

Copy Merged

AS_Paste as new animation

Back in PSP_Close this layer of water and open next one

Copy merged

AS_Paste after current frame

In PSP one more time

Close this water layer and open the third

Copy merged

AS_Paste after current frame

Check the animation

If pleased, save!!
