Moon Gazing

This tutorial was written by me on October 02, 2012, using my own ideas. Any resemblance to others is coincidental and accidental. This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of psp and is written in PSPX.

Supplies:

“Nights Magic” tube by Charlotte Boddien available at indie-Zine

Mask 35 by Lithium Flower Creations

 Fonts_Dotum (background saying)_Darkwood (name)

Abbreviations:

EC = Eye Candy

GG = Gradient Glow

DS = Drop Shadow

C/P = Copy and Paste

FF = Flood Fill

Open 600x250 blank canvas

Add layer_FF Black

Add layer_FF #897a5b

Apply mask to tan layer

Add layer_Select all

C/P background from tube into selection_Select none

Change blend mode to Hue

C/P tube – position so face is in the middle circle of mask

Erase anything outside that circle_opacity at 26

C/P tube and grass_re-size and place to the left of tag

Dotum_28_#897a5b_*type out message (I wrote “MOON GAZING”)_space bar 3 times_repeat saying*

Repeat from * to * until the saying covers tag

Erase any words from the cat face in the middle circle

Crop to opague

Add layer at top_FF #413974_Select all_Contract 5_delete_Select none

Repeat FF Black

Add all correct copyright/license information

Add name_Darkwood_72_stroke 2 #413974_fill #897a5b

DS all layers_0_0_100_10_Black

Repeat DS

Save!!

Shift+D to duplicate the sig tag

Using crop tool, crop tag so only the middle circle with cat face shows

Repeat the steps for adding a frame

Add all copyright/license

Add first letter of name

DS all layers twice
