Gothic Happy

This tutorial was written by me on April 04, 2013, using my own ideas. Any resemblance to others is coincidental and accidental. This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of psp and is written in PSPX.

“Fallen Angel” FTU sampler by Gothic Inspirations

“Happy Being Me” template by Lithium Flower

Eye Candy 5_Glass

Eye Candy 4000_Gradient Glow

Font_Loyalty

Abbreviations:

EC = Eye Candy

GG = Gradient Glow

DS = Drop Shadow

C/P = Copy and Paste

FF = Flood Fill

ANL = Add New Layer

AS = Animation Shop

Open template_shift+D_close original

As you work with each layer, close off the original 

ANL above blue background_Select all

C/P paper 5 into selection_Select none

Effects_Blinds_7_62_#5a2173_Horizontal checked

Select Black square_C/P paper 3 into selection_Invert_keep selected

C/P Tree and Fog, placing as shown on top of paper 3_Delete on both layers_Select none

Lower opacity of tree to about 68

Highlight Blue Glitter Strip layer_Select all_float_defloat_ANL_FF #9e5eb4Noise_65_Select none

C/P button above blue circle_resize to fit under white circle frame (I had to select the blue circle and delete part of the button)

Merge the three wave layers together_Select all_Float_Defloat_ANL_FF #8788c1_

Noise 39_Select none

“Being”_ANL_FF #9e5eb4_Select all of word_Float_defloat_Promote selection to layer_select none_Do not close original word layer (dots will be empty and just didn’t look good to me )

Merge “Happy” and “Me” together_using Change to Target Brush and color #744024, brush over words until it is colored

Merge all words together_Rotate slightly to the left and move up a bit

Small Circles_ANL_FF #f1e0c5_Select all/float on circles_Noise_45_Select none

C/P Tag EMB_Move down so it’s just above the background blinds layer and is positioned so only the doodles part shows and not the square

C/P Fabric Flower_re-size and position as shown

Duplicate background blinds layer_Bring to top_Select all_Contract by 5_Delete_Select none_Noise 40

C/P tube positioning as shown
